Associate of Applied Science Degree, Medical Secretarial – Macomb Community College
Secretarial Background:
Worked for two physicians in private practice before joining Henry Ford Hospital and working as the secretary for the Director of the Pediatric Residency Program, in addition to the 30 pediatric residents. I also worked in Administration at the Henry Ford Lakeside Facility in Sterling Heights. I volunteered in the school office here at Trinity for 14 years before officially joining the office staff in August 2012 as a part-time secretary/receptionist. Every day is an exciting one in the school office, where there is never a dull moment!
Handbell Background: My husband and I rang in the same handbell choir for 39 years, which is actually where we met! My in-laws and two of our three daughters rang in this same group for many years as well. This will be my 20th year of directing the four 5th-8th grade Handbell choirs at Trinity Lutheran School, a job I truly love!
Personal: My husband Alan and I have been married 39 years! We are blessed to have three daughters and two son-in-laws: Mary, Laura (who is married to Adam) and Carolyn (who is married to Michael). We have three precious grandchildren, Tessa Grace, John Moses and Anya Faith.
Hobbies: I enjoy nature walks, gardening, reading, and spending as much time as possible with my grandchildren!!!
