Junior High Youth
Don't let anyone put you down because you're young. Teach believers with your life. - 1 Timothy 4:12Junior High is for young people in seventh and eighth grades and is under the direction of the Trinity youth department. Students in these grades are welcome to join in any event, no matter which school they attend.
Trinity's Youth Ministry exists to help young people learn to share Christ's story with love. This is done mainly through teaching kids what it means to be a Lutheran Christian.
Read Through the Bible Information
In commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, there is a Synod wide effort to encourage people to read through the whole Bible. It will go from this October through next October. Please click here for a link which provides directions to use an app to guide your Bible reading.
Bible StudyEvery regular (non-holiday) Sunday between Labor Day and Memorial Day we have a fun program for students in grades seven and eight from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. Our curriculum helps young people explore the truth of the Bible through discussion and sometimes doing hands-on projects and experiments. Each child is also encouraged to bring and use their own Bible in class, as well as throughout the week.
Service ProjectsEvery week Trinity's Social Ministry offers service projects that students can do with their families, both on and off campus. Periodically, we also offer special youth-only activities. These all count toward confirmation service project requirements.
Special EventsThere are a few weekends throughout the year where we offer special events such as Springhill Camp, Youth Quake, and the Believe Conference. These all count as Confirmation Retreats.
Youth NightsTwice a month we offer a time for Junior High Students to come together to play games, socialize, and just enjoy time together as God's people. These take place both on and off campus, and all students are welcome!
Please see Trinity's Ministry Counter for more Junior High information.
