Our students participate in the Accelerated Reader Program. There are approximately 13,000 books in our library.
Research is a integral part of education at Trinity. Students learn through on-line research and from books. The Trinity Research Center has current non-fiction books and encyclopedias to assist the students in their social studies, English, religion and science projects. The teaching staff at Trinity develop their own web-quests and identify specific websites to use in our research projects.
We at Trinity adhere to the safe use of the Internet and teach the students how to use it safely. Many of the research projects involve group projects, PowerPoint presentations, posters, and written research papers.
At Trinity Lutheran School we don't just have a library, we have a place where our students can do research for classroom assignments, and check books out to enjoy.
Trinity library/research center provides an atmosphere where students can come during the day to read and work on the computers in addition to their assigned "library class time."
Our library is "customer friendly" because we have fiction sections for grades K-2, 3-4, and 5-8. There is something here for every reader. We have students who love reading about animals, planets, sports, and biographies.
Each Fall and Spring we sponsor a Book Fair. The proceeds go to purchase new books, tests, and computers. In the Research Center we strive to remain current with books which are interesting for the students to read in addition to the classics. We also continuously upgrade our computer systems.
